Charlestown resident prevents a bank robbery.

Jim Andrea, 59, foils an attempted robbery at The Cooperative Bank at 201 Main Street by tackling the would-be robber, a 32-year-old Charlestown resident, and holding him on the ground until police arrive. Charlestown had once been described by a Boston police detective as “Probably the bank robbery capital of the world.”
